The Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to be announced at the IFA trade show in Berlin, the same place where the first two Android smartphone-meets-tablet devices were unveiled. According to new reports, the Note III won't be the only Android product that Samsung debuts at IFA.
Asia Economic reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will be unveiled September 4th at IFA 2013. The phone is said to have a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, a new Exynos 5 Octa processor, and 3GB of RAM. On its own, that's not surprising at all given that each announcement at IFA has been an incremental improvement on the Galaxy Note released the previous year. One would expect the Galaxy Note III to have a bigger screen and newer processor to make the new phone better than the last.
One might not have expected Samsung to announce its own Android-connected smart watch, which Asia Economic says will also take place. Samsung revealed in March that it is making a smart watch in order to compete with the rumored Apple iWatch. It will also have to contend with the popular Pebble smart watch, the Sony Smartwatch 2, and even smart timekeepers from Google and LG.
